Snowy View From My Windy

Photobucket

Out my window this morning. It's still spitting snow but hasn't been sticking to the roads. Kids are trying to ride sleds but it's not working out very well. =)

I would have thought you were too far south for snow.

Julie, that is a pretty wise assumption. When I was younger we would get about ten measurable snows a season and maybe half of them would be be bad enough to keep us out of school.

Now we get about 5 or 6 snows a season and the kids stay home from school for ALL of them because the schools don't want to be sued and it's rare that we can't get to the store, etc. Now when I see snow I get all giddy. haha

When I lived in Georgia, my my my. When a couple of snowflakes fell, people stopped dead in their tracks and called a cab. Highways were a pure hazard from all the cars parked willy nilly. If you were caught in the middle of it you just found the bar with the best happy hour and waited it out.

Monkey, I forgot to tell you that I liked your Association connection.
