THE CAST

* Susan (me) - moved to care for my elderly Mother who has dementia; left my family and everything behind.

* Mother - 88 years old and the only nuclear family member left after my Father and sister passed.

* Daughter - Skyler, 22 years old, devoted and loving single mother; lively and joyful.

* Grandson - Phoenix, born 9/9/07; what a blessing!

* Son - 37 years old; sadly we aren't as close as we used to be.

* Husband - we live in different zip codes but understand it's what has to be for now. We've been married for 24 years.
