My name is Susan and I have high blood pressure.

I recently started taking high blood pressure medication and I bought one of those home blood pressure kits that wraps around your wrist, takes your pressure, and says it back to you.

After a few weeks to find the correct dosage (Lisinopril 5 mg) my pressure is now an average 120/73, which is a normal reading. Hallelujah! (Normal is 120/70)

So this is a big relief to me to have this under control. It didn't begin running high until this year. I had a physical in March and all was well but by May it was way high.

Stress is a mutha.

Glad the meds are working, Susan. I started back in the winter of 2004. I guess we're over . . . a certain age *grin*
