The flu shot just prevented 40% of the strains out there and I already have respiratory problems so I started wearing gloves when I go out. I keep them in my backpack so when I leave the car to go someplace, I slip on the gloves. I feel kinda weird doing it, but the flu could really lay me out if I got it right now.

gloves are a good idea. With our cold weather, I wear mine all the time. I buy 3 or 4 pair of black ones, 'cause I'm always losing 'em, and away we go!
