"Are you up, sleepyhead?" That's what my voice alarm said to me this morning. Are you in a pleasant mood in the morning? Or are you a grumpyhead?
When Skyler was small, she would wake up and say "Good morning," then look outside and say, "It's a beautiful day!" What a little optimist I have. We loved to see her greet the day.
By the time she got to high school she had left that early morning good mood behind! So I began greeting her mornings with her "Good morning! It's a bee-yoo-ti-ful day!"
