Shirl was talking about getting a scrapbook in order for her neice. And I was reminded of wanting to make something crafty. I used to sew all the time. Dresses, wall hangings, Christmas decorations and crafts. Whatever my local craft store had on display that looked good. Or whatever new pattern or fabric caught my eye. But since I've moved, I don't have any fabric or craft stores nearby at all. The closest I have is about 7 or 8 miles away to a WalMart Superstore. They have some fabric and patterns, and craft goodies, but it's not the same as a good old Craft store. Like Michael's. Do you have a Michael's where you are? They're in the US and Canada. They have e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. I mean everything.
