I was playing around with my new domain [http://easybakecoven.net], and had tried to add this site in a subdirectory there just to see if it'd work, so this site may have looked a little odd or been down lately. Lot's of tedious work involved switching my http://divamaggie.com/easybakecoven/ site to my new domain. It wouldn't be so hard if I didn't have Movable Type as my content manager. But I do!

I'll probably make my Christmas cookies soon. My daughter and I always do that. However, she's now 14, and doesn't care about it like she used to. I promise I won't get started about mourning the loss of her childhood today! Baking. Of course, I make sugar cookies in all the pertinent shapes with colored sugar. And since everyone loves chocolate chip cookies, I make them, too, and try to give some away, but end up with less to give away than originally planned because we eat them. Christmas baking spares no expense. Mostly, that means I use real butter. And I'll make some type of bar cookies. Does anyone have any good cookie recipes? Or other goodies? Anne had a recipe for some cookies she'd found at cookierecipe.com. I hope I don't sabotage my diet. I've now lost 13 pounds! Slowly, but surely.
