Kiss Me, I'm Southern
I'm from the South. The one thing that all true southerners have in common is a southern accent. I'd like to expound on some of the southern traditions. For instance, there's clogging. I never did get clogging. It's traditional mountain dancing. There are clubs and even awards for clogging in North Carolina, but it's usually back in the rural areas. And I've travelled deep into those "hollers" and seen clogging first hand. In the "hollers" you will also learn about the merits of rasslin', and the fine art of moonshine-making, and cock-fighting. When you meet these fine folks, you'll agree that they do have their own style and look. Put that together with the southern accent and it says, "Kiss me, I'm southern".

Now you also have your city-south. Folks living in the populated southern cities with lifestyles as common as anyone elses. You wouldn't know they were "southern" unless they open their mouth to speak. To look at me, you wouldn't think I was a bootlegger who enjoys a good cock fight or a Dukes of Hazzard rerun. But when I open my mouth and speak, I'm just afraid it just might remove all doubt!
