WINNING COCKTAIL - A Sensuous Dream

The Bellagio, Las Vegas

1 1/4 oz Absolut Vanilla
3/4 oz Chambord
1 oz heavy cream
1/3 oz rock candy syrup

Shake.
Strain into cocktail glass, prepared with swirls of melted chocolate on its side and a crust of Graham cracker and nutmeg on its rim.
Serve. A very sweet drink, but I'd try one. [via gothamist]

I sure have been slack around here. No posts in a month! I'm such a news junkie, it's hard to drag me off the news sites when I'm online sometimes.

Our daughter is staying with a friend for a week, so Steve baked a big turkey breast last night and made stuffing, and garlic mashed potatos, and Caesar salad. I just finished another plate of it for my dinner tonight, too. Those turkey breasts are so big, you can have it for a few meals and have some left over for sandwiches with mayo on wheat. Mmmmm.
