I'm still in Tennessee and am just back from taking Mother dear to church. Then I walked the dog which is done probably 4 x's a day and has helped me to trim down another 10 lbs or so.
What a beautiful day. The golfer's are out in full force and I see one foursome hoping their tee shot doesn't go into the pond here on 14. Later in the day, the course gets louder as the coolers on the carts get emptier. This back yard has so many memories and golf figures into many of them in some capacity. Did I ever tell you about camping out on the golf course?
I also strolled around the grounds at the Covered Bridge this morning. But I can't deny that the devil is sitting on my shoulder and saying... "Isn't there something else you could be doing?" I've just never done my hometown so straight but I'll do fine.
(The link above has so many beautiful shots of this small quaint Tennessee town.)
If I've not visited with you lately, please don't feel slighted. I've not visited with anyone at all as I've not been online much this week.

Albino Peacock? I got this in an email and don't know if there actually is a real albino peacock. But if this is an undoctored photo, it sure is one gorgeous creature. Anybody know?
Anyone who has personalized their Google page can find more fun modules at Google Modules. There's a to-do list, sudoku, pacman, and much more good stuff.
Stuff. That's a good work that's all encompassing. Stuff. Along with good, beautiful, and nice-- stuff is just one more word that I over use. Really should polish up on the Word of the Day, which is posted on this site at the bottom right someplace..no, down a little further. Yes, there it is.
Mercurial. Hubby's mercurial temper sent us all scampering to our respective corners.

We have about 4 inches of snow and it's so beautiful in the trees. Buddy has enjoyed diving into it nose first and it's always a joy to watch a dog play in the snow.
The Duke basketball game with Maryland yesterday was great. I'll really miss watching these guys when they graduate and head off to places unknown. March Madness will be here before you know it.
"Hi, Susan." "This is a voice from out of your past calling." At the family home in Tennessee, these calls are quite frequent since we've had the same phone number all these 30+ years.
Time to get the chicken out of the oven. I'm cutting it up for Chicken Caesar Salad. Making it the quick way today with a bottle of caesar dressing and a bag of cut up salad mixings. Stir in the chopped chicken meat to the salad and call it dinner. Sprinkle on some feta if ya got it for extra yumness.
Been such a slacker and haven't visited anyone this week. Will try to do better this week. :P

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm just tickled to be upright instead of wallering in the bed like I've done the past day or so. It's the sniffles/fever/coughing/wheezing extravaganza #2. That's two colds or flu in the past month. Mother dear asked me what she could do for me. So I took advantage and asked her to fix me some toast and juice. Took my morning maintenance meds along with 2 advil and made it to the keyboard while I'm riding that vertical wave.

Cool! I"m putting together my grocery list and was racking my brain trying to remember how to make White Chilli when I thought to look in my online files. I found it! There's a couple of other things, too, I may need while I'm over here in Tennessee to fix for Mother and I. It's a challenge to cook for two people.
Many errands today, will visit you guys later.

Glitter Graphics
this is fun to play around with. I also saw something that looked like fun that Karen had done that she got from Shirl. About a shirt. Gotta check that one, too. Oh, Karen is having a birthday today.

Robin had a lot of great stuff for your face. Rich, creamy moisturizers with a scientific twist or natural features. Day AND night creams, anti-aging things, and wondrous makeup, too. I've been trying out things on my face, hoping for magical results but so far my skin is only radiant. It's still droopy, wrinkly, and sagging. When gravity sneaks up on your face, no amount of beauty creams will help you. This calls for major spackling or surgery. And that ain't happening.
